Does it work inside header template?

We bought the pro version and we’re trying to split test two header sections inside a single header template for a single session. Unfortunately, only 1 section displays no matter how many times we visit site and no stats register.

Questions
1. Can we split test the two sections (menus) like this?
2. Does it work per session? We don’t want users seeing two menus in a single session.
