I see that my website is being crawled by bots from Boardman Oregon. These are not the exact IP addresses that Wordfence says not to block, but they’re close and coming from the same place. Should I leave these unblocked? Thank you.

    Hi @ss_minnow,

Thanks for reaching out! Those IP addresses don’t belong to Wordfence. Our IP addresses are listed in the article below:
    https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/#servers-and-ip-addresses

Please let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,
    Margaret

Hi Margaret. I blocked them and then I couldn’t block anything else. I unblocked them and then everything went back to normal. It seems like they do have some impact on the functionality of Wordfence.

    Hi @ss_minnow,

Those two IP addresses do not belong to Wordfence and blocking them won’t impact Wordfence’s ability to communicate with your site.

What issues are you running into when blocking additional IPs exactly?

    Thanks,
    Margaret

The last time I blocked them I tried to block some other IPs after that and the plugin just stalled. When I unblocked them it worked again. It’s possible that the server was just busy. I blocked them again today and the plugin worked fine after that.
