Hello, is there a way to deactivate this whole paragraph, because it’s very annoying when you want to add an image (you have to go even lower to access the image settings). Thanks.

Merci.

  • Hello @laraider ,

Currently the only way is to add some custom CSS to the admin dashboard so that it will hide the paragraph, there is no other way.

Hello, I understand, but at least you put the text “Creates a Download based on this file and moves the file to Download Monitor’s protected folder. Also replaces the attachment’s URL with the download link” in a bubble rather than writing directly.

It should be something that can be disabled in the plugin settings, because for example I don’t have a site specialized in downloading… I have more than 10000 images and only 50 downloads… but if I have to see this text on all my images every time I want to make changes or add 1000 more, it will quickly become annoying (and on mobile, it’s even more annoying). Thanks.

Bonjour, je comprends, mais au moins tu mets le texte “Creates a Download based on this file and moves the file to Download Monitor’s protected folder. Also replaces the attachment’s URL with the download link” dans une bulle plutôt que de l’écrire directement.

Merci.

Or just move it UNDER the image settings, like that, it will be less annoying ^^

Thanks for the feedback, that is a good point indeed.

I’ve opened a ticket ( https://github.com/WPChill/download-monitor/issues/1132 ) where we’ll discuss what we can do, based on the discussion with you 😀

Great, thanks 🙂 In case you haven’t seen my other proposal (perhaps simpler for you), I’ll note it down again.

This topic will be marked as resolved as this is not an option the plugin currently has, and we have a feature enhancement ticket on GitHub regarding this.
