Display Fields in Admin

Hi.

For ACF Standard/Pro i´ve found some code to manage this. Does Extended has a function to show / sort fields at the WP admin in the free or pro version?

Your question is far from clear, but are you aware that ACF-Extended doesn’t replace the features that you are already using in ACF?

So, you can keep using them while enjoying awesome additional functionality that ACF-E provides.

Also, it would help if you explained what function this field show / sort fulfills for you.

Hello,

Thanks for the feedback! I’m not sure to fully understand the question tho, but any function/code with ACF will work with ACF Extended.

If you’re talking about “Field Visibility” (being able to show/hide field on front-end or back-end) you can use the Advanced Settings (Free) or the Field Visibility Widget (Pro).

Hi guys.

Sorry – as I´m rereading my post it´s not that clear as it should be.

The ‘Advanced Settings’ isn´t right. Your second link seems to be ‘damaged’ in the frontend at my site : https://www.acf-extended.com/features/field-settings/field-visibility

Could You confirm this?

Hello,

Thanks for the feedback. The page had some cache problems after a plugin update. It is now fixed, please take a look again.

If you want to display meta fields in the Post List columns, you’ll have to use the following hooks:
- https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/manage_post_type_posts_columns/
- https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/hooks/manage_post-post_type_posts_custom_column/

This code will work both with ACF & ACF Extended. You can also check the Admin Columns plugin, which has an ACF addon (paid addon if I recal correctly).

I plan to add an UI to manage those column in a future version of ACF Extended. But it is not available for the moment.

Hi Konrad.

Thanks alot for pointing me there! In my past research I found all these – but want to be sure I didn´t miss this at Your tool.

I´ll wait for Your release! 🙂 The plugin ‘admin columns’ is way to expensive – so I better spend my money for Your pro version and have it all at one place.
