Disconnected

Installed this plugin and it has been working just fine. Today it was giving an error message that it was not connected to Google. Note: I have never changed the settings since installation. Today I copied and pasted the site keys over what was there and that appeared to fix the problem. I would like to know if anyone has experienced this and what causes the disconnect to happen when nothing has been changed in the settings. Thanks.
