I manage 2 sites with busy event calendars – events submitted by editors and user submitted. Both sites in the past week have experienced disappearing events, all recurring events from what I can tell, some submitted by user, some added backend by editor. The user even gets the email that their event posted but it’s not actually there. This is limited, other events are posting. This feels like a bug as even I have been able to replicate the problem so to rule out user error in submission. Please advise what we can do.

can I know when is this started to happen? eg. after plugin update

also, what is your current EM version?

I am also having the same issue with user submitted events. I have older user submitted recurring events that show up (submitted a few months ago, but still relevant). Recurring events that have been submitted and approved in the last 2 weeks do not. My guess is that the break point is when I applied the 5.7.2 update (WP version 4.7.5).

Admin created events seem to show up fine. I tried 2 different recurrence patterns one of which matches the recurrence pattern on the user submitted events. With a user submitted event that isn’t displaying, I tried turning to draft and publishing again, but still no luck. I also tried using duplicate and publishing it, which makes it owned by me (an admin) and it still doesn’t display. I have checked the events backend page and it is not creating them there.

Can you both upgrade to the Dev version of the plugin? That version contains bug fixes relating to recurring events.

Let us know if you’re still having trouble after upgrading.
