Thanks for reaching out and also for reporting the conflict on GitHub 🙂.
The preview as student feature was designed to be used by site Admin’s and Teachers during the process of creating the course. Ideally the feature should not show up for anyone else or disrupt the website’s functionality in any way.
Can you give me some more details on what problem the feature is causing on your website, and why exactly are you looking to disable this feature?

You can disable the Preview as student by adding the following filter.
add_filter( 'sensei_feature_preview_students', '__return_false' );
