Disable a single item cache

    Hello,

    Great plugin, many thanks.

    Is it possible to add an action to disable a single item object cache.
    Something with custom post not all item must by cached.

    Thank you for using our plugin!

    In order to solve your issue as good as possible, I would like to know a little bit more about the background of your question. Why exactly don’t you want it to be cached?

    These caches are flushed automatically whenever the item is edited. So there should be no problem to cache it. What (kind of) data is added to the object at what point that it should not be cached?

    Hello,

    The problem is if we use shortcode on some content linked with other post ids for this we will exclude only a single item cache.

    Hi @redcastor

    We just released a new version of our plugin. For several reasons and the fact that the Item API Cache wasn’t adding a real performance boost, we have decided to remove it completely. So I would say that also solves your problem, right?
