Dear @boonebgorges,

I looked through the support threads here and I think there might be an issue with the formatting of my digest emails: The line doesn’t break after the date.

As such, it’s a bit cluttered and not easy to see the updates. I found this thread here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/gmail-formatting-is-poor/ and in that screenshot it looks ok.

Would be great if you could let me know how to address this issue.

Hi Philip – I’ve opened as a placeholder so that I or another team member can investigate at some point in the future. Given the screenshot you posted from another thread, my guess is that either the digest markup is incorrect, or your email client isn’t reading the inline CSS correctly. If you’re able to debug one of these, or post a relevant piece of the markup here, it might help expedite the issue.

Dear Boone,

thanks for your quick feedback. I tested with various email clients as well as directly with the Gmail interface and the issue remains the same. I also went back to the original email template without any of my modifications and the issue is still present. Hence I think it would rather be the markup than on the client side of things.
