    Hi Ryan!
I find difficulties getting to work the AQL with ACF, when using the field meta key.

We have a custom post type (event) and these posts have a custom field with Field Name “datum”. Both are created with ACF. This field “datum” should serve both to display the date of the event and to order the posts by the date of the event.

When I use AQL and I introduce for the query “datum” in the meta key, it wont be recognized when I start typing and if I save the page with the AQL query, the meta key name will be gone.

    Am I missing something?
    Thank you in advance!

Hello and thanks for using AQL!

Can you confirm that the datum field is being exposed to the REST API?

Additionally, be sure to either hit return or the comma key to add the field to the Meta Key input.

Please let me know if you are still running into issues!

    Hi Ryan,
Indeed I needed to activate the REST API for this ACF field group, I had no idea, but now is working, Thanks a lot!
Maybe you could note this in the FAQ of the plugin.

    Secondary question,
Is it possible to add a Meta Value and Meta Compare with “today’s” date in order to display only before (<) or after (>=) today date? What is the format for this Meta Value, if my date is formated d.m.Y?

Have a great weekend and all good for your workshop at WC US, I will be curious to watch it on WPTV if possible.
