Hi Ben. Thank you for letting us know.

The majority of issues that we’ve encountered from people who say it doesn’t work stem from the fact that their web hosting company has placed some restriction and as a result things that don’t work as they should. The hosting provider shouldn’t do this, but some of them are not as forthcoming as they should be.

Secondly, the other common issue we come across is plugins that interfere with scanning. While we try to address many issues that we come across such as some cache plugins, it is impossible to address all possible combinations of plugins/themes in WordPress universe. On top of that, not all plugins/themes follow best practices. Such is the life of open source systems!

Lastly, we know it works because we’ve done extensive testing on Gutenberg and Elementor (basic) to delete unused images and have seen success with people who have huge amounts of unused media. The results speak for itself.

We are more than happy to work it out with you and we ask that you have patience. We are a pretty small team.

We’re sorry that you feel this way and wish you the best on finding an alternative.
