    Hi guys.

I am trying to find a string of text so i can delete it from the php file as i cannot see any other way to alter it. The text is

“Click on Book Now to confirm your reservation. You will be redirected to PayPal to complete your payment.”. I want to delete the section where it says you will be redirected to paypal etc.

I have been trying to locate the text in the plugin php file and i cannot find it anywhere! I have downloaded the plugin folder via sftp and ran a search and the only folder i can find anything in is the language folders.

Steps to recreate is to select a booking date and proceed to booking, scroll to the bottom of the page past where you enter your details and its there just before the “Book now” button.

I have attached a screenshot i have taken for you to see how far i have got in identifying it’s location.

Any help with this is much appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance

Hmmm…. https://wordpress.org/plugins/hbook/ has not been updated in 4 years and there seems to be no support. Probably time to find a new plugin.

You may be able to find some support here: https://maestrel.com/contact/

Yes although it’s not my site it’s someone else’s and they asked me to see if I can sort it. I just need to locate that html so I can delete it, other than that the plug-in itself works great.

Support of all commercial themes and plugins is out of scope for these forums. While we will not close your post, we also cannot guarantee any support at all, be that by volunteers or the developers. We recommend you instead use the developer’s official contact for their premium offerings, as that is the most direct line..

But the support I need is regarding google dev and locating html, not really anything to do with the plug-in functionality or compatibility. The process would be the same for any plug-in used. All

I need to do is to locate that snippet of text using dev tools

    thanks

You’re asking how to fix a commercial plugin. That’s beyond our scope. If you need to hire a dev, we recommend jobs.wordpress.net.

Have you tried to contact the author using the above link?

Sorry, I probably wasn’t clear in my description. All I need help with is how to locate the snippet of text using google dev, the plug-in really is irrelevant as I know how to edit the plug-in file etc. I only asked on here as I’ve exhausted all avenues I can and I normally get pretty good responses. I will attempt to contact the plug-in author but as you say there doesn’t seem to be much support for it which is why I was hoping someone could point me in the direction I need.

I have now resolved this. Thanks
