Delete all statistic data

    In earlier versions, there was the option to delete all statistical data, i.e. delete all table contents.
    This was helpful to clear statistics when copying the site from staging to production.
    I can’t find this option anymore.
    Do I really have to delete the table contents manually, or implement my own code snippet to clear the data, or uninstall and reinstall the plugin?

    Dear @maltmann,
    Thank you for reaching out.
    There is no need to delete the data manually.
    To clear all statistical data, please navigate to Statistics > Settings > Advance Options.
    Under the Danger Zone section, enable the option Delete All Data on Plugin Deletion and save your settings.
    After that, simply uninstall the plugin once and then reinstall it.
    This process will automatically clear all the statistical data.

    Thanks, @gandomi, I’m aware of this method.
    However, after reinstalling the plugin, I also have to manually reconfigure it to my needs, as the plugin doesn’t allow to export/import the configuration.

    You’re correct — at the moment, the plugin doesn’t include a built-in option for importing or exporting settings.

    That said, this is something our development team is currently looking into.

    While I can’t give an exact timeline, it’s likely that this feature will be considered for a future update.

    Thank you for considering a function to export/import the configuration.
    Bringing back the previous “delete all table data” feature would be a great alternative or additional solution.

    For now, I can live with the delete/reinstall plugin method, but it’s very inconvenient.

    You can use this feature through the Customization Add-on to transfer plugin settings between sites.
