Default attributes for new product

    Hi,

    Is there a way to automatically add certain attributes to every newly generated product (or at least retrospectively to all products?)? All of my products need the attributes HS code, Country of origin and customs description and I’d like to add these automatically when a product is generated (and even better add a default value for these attributes unless it is being changed manually). Is there a way to achieve this?

    Currently, WooCommerce doesn’t provide an out-of-the-box solution to automatically add attributes like HS code, country of origin, and customs description to every new product, or to set default values for them.

    However, you can achieve this by using custom code or third-party plugins. You can try using this plugin: WooCommerce Bulk Edit Products, Prices & Attributes. It will help you bulk edit attributes, allowing you to make changes to attributes for all products at once.

    If you prefer not to use a plugin, you can achieve this using custom code, but please note that we do not provide support for customizations.
