First of all thank you for this awesome plugin!
I am experiencing a problem at the moment (which is new). When creating a new announcement the language of the datepicker which can be used to select the date of the announcement is German (which is actually right since the page is German). So once I choose a date in the picker the input field gets filled with the date in German, so instead of 18. March 2017 it says 18. Mรคrz 2017. However when saving I get an error telling me that the date format should not be a string but an INT. So I tried to manually write 18. March 2017 into the input field and it works like a charm. So the problem seems to be the language of the datepicker. Is there a way to change the language to English or is there a way to allow other languages than English to work for the plugin?

    Thank you!

    Hi @sacredclown,

Is your site setting set to German? I don’t think I’ve encountered that issue before but we will certainly look into it and put it at the top of our list.

We have a new patch geared up for release, but we’ll look to get this patch in there before releasing the new version.

We will post back here when we have had a chance to look into and fix the issue up.

Thanks for reporting the bug here!

Thank you for your answer! Yes, I chose German as the site setting. For you to better understand I made a screenshot which shows that when choosing a date from the datepicker it will place the German date into the input field (9. Mai 2017). As soon as you click Update however the date gets reset to todays date in English (11. March 2017) and when you go back to the “All Announcements” page you get the error that is also on the screenshot.

    Hey @sacredclwon,

It looks like there is an issue with international date formats and the strtotime() function. It looks like that function only accepts english dates (Since you are using F j, Y the german month name is used.)

We are currently working on a fix and should have something included in the next release, v1.4.0.

Thanks for reporting this here, we are working diligently on getting it ironed out.

    Hi @sacredclown,

We have a patch coming out for this in the next hour or so. We are just putting it through some testing to ensure everything works as intended. We are introducing a new hotfix that will fix this issue right up.

We will post back here when we have that patch out.

Thanks again for reporting the issue to us.

    Hi @sacredclown,

Go ahead and update to 1.4.0 and you should no longer be seeing the issue.

Please let us know the outcome. We’ve gone ahead and built in support for German and a number of our most used languages.

Awesome! So glad to hear that. Thank you for keeping us posted on the issue. I’m sure others will benefit from that fix as well, and us being in America we may not have caught that.

If you are enjoying the plugin we would appreciate a positive review here in the repository:

Thank you again, and have a wonderful rest of your day!
