Howdy!

On a number of pages on my backend I get this error when I have WP Debug on:

Deprecated: Using ${var} in strings is deprecated, use {$var} instead in /home4/lnhiremy/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Util/Notices/DatabaseEngineNotice.php on line 100

Is there a fix planned?

Same problem here afther upgrade Mailpoet plugin
/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Util/Notices/DatabaseEngineNotice.php on line 100.

Is there an solution?

Same for us as well. A solution would be appreciated.

We also get a lot of error on headers:

PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at …/wp-content/plugins/mailpoet/lib/Util/Notices/DatabaseEngineNotice.php:100) in …/wp-includes/functions.php on line 7108

sorry for this oversight. It’s fixed, and will be included in the next release (likely on Tuesday).

MailPoet 5.1.0 is released, which fixes this issue.
