Customized CSS not appearing on mobile theme

I’m trying to customize the CSS thru the “Customization” page. It does work on desktop view. I can see the custom style being applied.
But it looks like the CSS is not included when viewing the site on mobile device. I’ve checked the checkbox to include the styling in mobile theme. Is there any extra step I missed?
