Hi @andytodd88 ,
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We have confirmed the issue where custom styles do not apply in Elementor. Our team is working on it now. We will release a hotfix once finalized and let you know as soon as it is available.
Thanks!
Hi @andytodd88,
We’ve released a new version that fixes this problem. If you update to the latest version of AffiliateX Pro, your customizations should now work properly in Elementor.
Thanks again for reporting this, and please let us know if you run into any further issues.
Thanks for this. I’ve updated and it’s working. In truth, I don’t think it’s all that useful as it is, as there are so many options that can be customised in Elementor for the object, which is great, but these aren’t available within the customiser. What I have done as a workaround is saved the object as a global in Elementor, and then essentially added this, unliked it and then changed the product feed from Amazon. Whilst it works fine, this does mean that if I want to change the appearance of all globals, I can’t because I’ve unliked. If the settings in the Customise menu were as extensive and pulled through to all objects, this would be great. Maybe something to explore as a next step!
Thanks for issuing the fix, though!
Hi @andytodd88,
Glad you were able to get it working with Elementor’s settings. As you mentioned, Elementor has its own strong styling layer, but our goal is to eventually make AffiliateX customization settings more consistent and globally applied across both Gutenberg and Elementor, so you won’t have to unlink or re-apply styles manually. We have some other features currently requested more frequently, but improving global customization is definitely something we want to explore further.
You can add this one, and any other features you’d like to see in the future here, so others can vote and help prioritize it.
Thanks!
