I’d like to customise the subscribe form which will be injected at the bottom of the blog posts but I cannot see any way to add a title to the form and the description field doesn’t even accept HTML tags so I can’t see anyway at all to make changes to the form content. Surely that must be possible?

In my case, I just want to add a title, a description and a link to the RSS feed.

    Also, other questions I have:

    * How do you enable the captcha? Mine just shows a screenshot of the configuration in the security settings page.

    * You can enable a GDPR terms & conditions checkbox but where exactly can you specify these terms of even make it link to somewhere? Otherwise what is the subscriber even agreeing to?

    Hello,

You can create a form (under Email Subscribers > Forms) and copy the short code into a text widget with a title of your choice and add it to the footer. WordPress’s text widget allows HTML tags so you can customize it and add any content on the top of the Email Subscribers’ form as you wish.

How do you enable the captcha? Mine just shows a screenshot of the configuration in the security settings page.

Captcha is available with paid versions. You can enable/disable captcha under Email Subscribers > Settings > Security

    * You can enable a GDPR terms & conditions checkbox but where exactly can you specify these terms of even make it link to somewhere? Otherwise what is the subscriber even agreeing to?

You can add a hyperlink like this:

    I agree to ----- website's <a href="https://yourwebsite.com" target="_blank">Privacy Policy</a>
