Custom update button

Is it possible to display the “Update” button that is currently shown at the end of the form (in edit mode) somewhere else.

I understand that there is also a “checkmark” which updates the form but that is not extremely intuitive and results in a poor UX.

If the “checkmark” can be an update button, or if I can place the button elsewhere, it would be great.
