Custom field validation

For a new web site I’d like to buy your facebook login extension and custom registration fields. One question: if I buy your custom registration fields extension, can I do a custom validation of this extra field? I’d like to add a postcode field and I need to make a custom validation of this field. Does it exist an action for this purpose?
