This notification will not go away, and we are not (to the best of my knowledge) using custom shortcodes.

The closest thing I can identify are the custom PHP snippets we are using that were created by MailPoet that are being inserted to modify functionality of MailPoet on our website.

    Using the following:

    * This changes the event link to the event website URL if that is set.

    * Event Tickets Plus – Disable Taxes for Ticket Products

    * Enable Featured Image URL Import for Events and Tickets

    * Enable Featured Images for Events List Widget

    * Send an email to organizer when new tickets are generate for en event they are running

    * Enable wp.me short links for Event Type Posts

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there @bslush,

What is the specific notification you are seeing about custom email shortcodes?

Please copy the content of the notification here, and also send over a screenshot of where it’s showing up. I recommend https://snipboard.io for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL in your reply here.

Also, please let us know a bit more about those custom PHP snippets created by MailPoet that you are using — where did they come from? Are they listed in documentation somewhere?

    Hi Brad (@bslush),

I believe that’s exactly why you’re seeing the notification about custom shortcodes. If these integrations have been created using deprecated shortcode code, you’ll need to remove them from your newsletters or update them by following these instructions:

    https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/160-create-a-custom-shortcode

    I hope it helps!

    Hi there @bslush,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
