CPT Posts not displayed in HTML sitemap when using shortcode
-
Hi guys,
I’m having a little trouble with the plugin. I have a sitemap.xml added to the root of the website that works fine if I download it and open it. All the CPT posts are included in that one. Although, I am having an issue viewing that xml file in the browser. It keeps saying this: ‘This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.’, but nothing appears. I have the stylesheet checked to include the xsl, but it still won’t display.
The main issue I’m having is getting CPT posts to display in the HTML created version, when using the shortcode. I’m not sure if the block editor has the same problem, but I don’t use Gutenberg so I’m unaware if it does. The HTML version picks up all the pages and displays them, but just none of the CPT posts.
Is there any reason why I’m getting these issues?
I am using Divi as the theme with a child theme and loads of customisations. Also have Yoast SEO installed as well, and quite a few other plugins. Would anything be conflicting, or is there something I’ve missed, or is there no functionality within this plugin that adds the CPT posts to the HTML version? It would be a great shame if I can’t get it sorted.
One other thing I noticed with the HTML version, is that it is displaying some of Divi’s categories, types, scope and module information. These must be their own CPT Taxonomies, but there is no way to disable them from being added, in the settings. I have the option to disable taxonomies for CPTs I have created, but Divi’s taxonomies are not listed. They don’t get added to the .xml file though. For now, I can target they container of the content I don’t want displayed by a class and hide it using css, but it would be great for these to be picked up in the settings like the other CPT stuff.
Kind regards,
Kevin
