    Hi,

    as far as I understood the official matomo docs, it is possible to use cookieless tracking before the user gives consent or if the user rejcets, and if the user accepts the cookies, the tracking will become more accurate over sessions.

    When I enable the option in Complianz “Do you want to use cookieless tracking with matomo” will this work the same? So cookieless before consent or reject and after consent normal with cookies? Or does one disable the other?

    I hope the question is clear.

    Otherwise I would add the code for that myself, it should be just this one line: _paq.push(['requireCookieConsent']);

    Hi @jonalange,

    If you let Complianz configure the Matomo script and enable Cookieless Tracking, the configuration as you describe it (cookieless prior to consent, “full” tracking upon providing consent) would be applied indeed.

    Please refer to the section How to configure Complianz” in the article below for set-up instructions: https://complianz.io/cookieless-tracking-matomo/

    Kind regards, Jarno
