Conditional required datepickers

I’m working on an e-commerce site for an in-person delivery service that delivers to four neighborhoods. For one of the neighborhoods, we deliver on-demand every day. All other neighborhoods require the customer to choose a scheduled delivery date.

How can we set up the datepicker to be required if the customer is in one of our neighborhoods that require scheduling?
