    Hi!

I have a coming and going 404 error that I’ve been getting for the last year or so. Would there be a way to find out how to fix this error bellow? I copied it from the Debug file. Please see below:

[26-Mar-2025 22:11:57 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/qawqu2nootuh/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/tracks/class-wc-tracks.php on line 78 [26-Mar-2025 22:11:59 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/qawqu2nootuh/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/tracks/class-wc-tracks.php on line 78 [26-Mar-2025 22:12:17 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/qawqu2nootuh/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/tracks/class-wc-tracks.php on line 78 [26-Mar-2025 22:12:26 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/qawqu2nootuh/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/tracks/class-wc-tracks.php on line 78 [26-Mar-2025 22:12:26 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/qawqu2nootuh/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/tracks/class-wc-tracks.php on line 78 [26-Mar-2025 22:12:26 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/qawqu2nootuh/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/tracks/class-wc-tracks.php on line 78 [26-Mar-2025 22:13:19 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined offset: 0 in /home/qawqu2nootuh/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/tracks/class-wc-tracks.php on line 78

It seems like it’s from this page: https://www.nailtime.ca/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=shop_order

It’s always when I sign in on the dashboard, there is not issue with the front end of the site. Also, after getting error 404, a quick refresh would “fix” the problem. But I’m trying to do other things in the site, and it’s causing other Applications to not work properly. (I’m using airtable to upload inventory to the site).

    Thank you!

    Julie

    Hello nailtime,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I undersatnd you are facing a 404 error when you login into WP-Admin dashboard of your site. Moreover, this issue happens intermitently and cannot be reproduced regularly.

You have shared an error log which indicates that some plugin is incorrectly calling a WooCommerce function. Please share your site’s System Status Report with me. You can paste it into https://pastebin.com and share the link here. This will help me review your site configuration.

To troubleshoot further, tell me how often you can reproduce this error. I want to know the ratio like 1 in 10 attempts or some other number.

Once I have more information, I will be in a better position to assist you further.

    Best regards.

    Hi!

Thank you so much for your helpfulness.

Here’s the link for pastebin. I would get the error 1/2 times, but it goes away after refreshing. I also currently get error 500.

I did not get these errors before I updated my plugins.

    Hi @nailtime ,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I did not get these errors before I updated my plugins.

The "Undefined offset: 0" notice you’re seeing in the class-wc-tracks.php file usually means the code is trying to access an array item that doesn’t exist — often because the array is empty or hasn’t been properly set up yet.

It looks like this was a known issue that’s already been fixed in WooCommerce 9.6. From your SSR, I noticed you’re currently running version 9.5.2. In this case, updating WooCommerce to the latest version should clear that error right up.

You can also check out the GitHub issue for more context here: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/53848

Please check and let us know if this helps!

Thank you. I’ve updated to 9.8.1 and am still getting error 404 and now error 500 1/2 times

I went to status and have pasted the status report here:

Should I also update the database?

It’s currently saying this at the top:

WooCommerce has been updated! To keep things running smoothly, we have to update your database to the newest version. The database update process runs in the background and may take a little while, so please be patient. Advanced users can alternatively update via WP CLI.

I’ve now updated the database and still getting Error 404 and Error 500.

    Hi @nailtime ,

Thanks so much for updating the plugin version — really appreciate you taking that step!

Just to check in, are you still seeing the same PHP error after the update? If the issue’s popping up again, could you let us know which specific page is showing the 404 or 500 error?

A screenshot would be super helpful too, just so we can see exactly what you’re seeing. If you don’t already have a screenshot tool, Snipboard.io is a quick and easy one to use — you can paste the image and share the link with us.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Hi,

I’m still getting the error. Please see this sc https://snipboard.io/hpD7aH.jpg

I also got a critical error, and went to refresh the page and it went away. I also got a 500 error, also refreshed and it went away.

    Thank you for your help.

    Hi there!

Thank you for sharing the screenshot of the error. The last error you shared occurred while browsing your site’s frontend.

This error suggests that your site’s hosting server may not be in maintenance mode, which is likely why you’re encountering this issue. I’m suspecting that all the other errors might also be related to the server. Could you please contact your hosting provider and ask them to check the server logs to identify what might be causing the errors, or if any server settings could be causing this issue?

Let me know what they said.

    Hey Shahzeen!

I did speak to Godaddy about 5 weeks ago, and they said that they had to delete some things from this file (I can’t remember which file). and that it most likely was the problem. But after they did the edits, I was still getting the error.

I’m actually on the phone with them today and we will see what they will do today.

    Hi @nailtime,

Thank you for the update — it’s greatly appreciated. I’m glad to hear that GoDaddy’s support team is open to continuing the troubleshooting with you. After your session with them and any further steps taken, feel free to reach out and let us know what they shared and whether the issue was resolved.

    Thanks again!

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back in a bit, so I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved for now. If you’d like to pick things back up later, we’re just a message away!

Apart from this, if you have a moment, we’d really appreciate a review: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/woocommerce/reviews/#new-post
