Code not showing

    I have inserted the code and it worked. But today I can’t see it anymore in the code box when I open custom fields. The CODE tag is there on the left but no code on the right in the text field.

    That’s… odd.

    The custom meta box is a component of core WordPress and not controlled by my plugin. I only ever read the contents of the meta, never modify it. For this reason, this won’t be an issue with the plugin but something else external.

    Either you have another plugin deleting content or some housekeeping of some kind.

    Unfortunately, there’s not much I can help you with here.
