I noticed that CoBlocks seems to access googleapis.com – probably to load a couple of fonts.

    In the page source I see the line <link rel='stylesheet' id='coblocks-block-fonts-css' href='//fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Barlow+Condensed%3

Now, the rest of WP 6.x is able to use local copies of the fonts and avoids violating GDPR by collecting and sharing personal information with third-party services without user consent.

My question: can I use CoBlocks with local fonts or what are the recommendations about GDPR compliance?

Looking into the browser communications log the plugin seems to call out to Google to request Barlow fonts (which I don’t even like or want).

    The GET request is

    https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Barlow Condensed:100,100italic,200,200italic,300,300italic,400,400italic,500,500italic,600,600italic,700,700italic,800,800italic,900,900italic|&ver=3.1.15

In an attempt to prevent the Google access, I tried to install the ‘Barlow Condensed’ font family locally in the Theme, but still the request goes out to Google.

How can we prevent this and restrict CoBlocks to the available fonts?
