Hi, I just noticed that my backups haven’t been uploading to my Dropbox account since March. My Dropbox account is good to go, and the settings of the plugin show that it should be uploading to the cloud… and I always check this option when I’m making a backup, but it isn’t working.

What’s strange is that I toggled off the Dropbox option when inside the plugin dashboard and then I was led to a page that says “Invalid SSL certificate”, as you can see here: https://ibb.co/99YVts92. The URL for this page is https://backup-guard.com/dropbox/.

So… now I can’t even attempt to toggle it back on.

    Help please!

I also just tried toggling on the Google Drive cloud backup option and am having the same issue. It takes me to the https://backup-guard.com/gdrive/ page and this just shows the Invalid SSL certificate error.

So I can’t do anything at the moment. Can’t upload to any cloud platform.

It seems like you are using an old outdated version of the backup plugin, update to the latest v3.X version and this should work.

The backup plugin has been rebranded as “JetBackup”, you can find more details here – https://www.jetbackup.com/jetbackup-for-wordpress/

Get the latest version from here – https://wordpress.org/plugins/backup/

I do have the latest version.

I’ve just recorded my screen to show you: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cTQjI3noTeb

There’s an issue with this plugin. And unfortunately my subscription just renewed for another year yesterday even though it doesn’t work.

    Hi @kchrist8

I do have the latest version.

In the top right corner of the screen (taken from your screen recording), you can see that you are using version 2.0.9.15. The latest version as of writing this post is 3.1.12.3

Anyway, as @moderator mentioned, you are mostly welcome to open a ticket directly with us, and we can take it from there.

Ok. I will open a ticket as well. But how do I update the darn plugin???

When I go to the update page Jetbackup doesn’t show up as needing updated. And when I look around in the plugin dashboard I see no way up updating it.

    Hi @kchrist8,

Disable the plugin, install the free plugin from WordPress echo system, it should fetch your destination credentials from the database, or just re-add them.

If needed, you can open a ticket directly with us and our 24/7 support will assist.
