Client ID box in settings plugins erased

I have activated the Fast Events plugin. I have entered the api-keys for mollie. I installed the management interface. But I accidentally removed the client ID that was issued when registering the App. It usually starts with app_.

Now I cant get the plugin to work. When I click on Admin to enter the events I get error 404 Not Found.

Ik have tried to remove the plugin and reinstalled it. But it remembers the settings and the client ID box stays empty.

So you are planning to run Fast Events as provider for other merchants and have enabled Saas in the Settings, but you can’t fill in again the Client ID in the settings of the plugin? Thats a bit strange.

Anyway to complete remove the plugin check the ‘wp_options’ table and delete (if available) the following ‘option_name’ keys.

Thank you for your response.

I have not enabled SAAS. I am planning to run Fast Events to sell tickets for my own event. Does this mean the box Client ID can stay empty?

If so, there is another reason that I cannot enter the Fast Events-Admin. Have other users encountered the same problem (error 404 Not Found when trying to open the admin)?

Your setup doesn’t need SaaS and you can ignore all the following fields. See https://docs.fast-events.eu/en/latest/getting-started/settings.html#saas-mode

When you install the admin interface, it’s downloaded and ‘lives’ in ../wp-content/uploads/fast-events/admin. Check that it’s there and that the uploads directory is writable.

The Admin interface should work in any browser, but you must disable any add blocker (uBlock Origin or any other) for the site.

You say that you get a 404. It would be helpful if you could provide the URL that triggers the 404.

As an alternative to the Web Admin interface, you can use the FE Admin App on your phone or tablet.

It looks like the web management interface does not work properly. I do have installed the FE admin app on my phone and that seems to work fine.

Ok, but did you check if the directory ‘../wp-content/uploads/fast-events/admin’ exists and is writable?

The 404 says it’s not here. Did you install it? https://docs.fast-events.eu/en/latest/getting-started/settings.html#management-interface

If you are a WordPress admin user, you should launch the admin interface by selecting the Fast Events -> Administration option from the menu in the left sidebar.

Launching the Administration Interface from the URL above is only useful if you want to delegate certain functionality to other WordPress users. https://docs.fast-events.eu/en/latest/apps/admin.html#desktop-users

The directory ‘../wp-content/uploads/fast-events/admin’ does not exists and is not writable.
I am a WordPress admin user. When I try to launch the admin interface by selecting the Fast Events -> Administration option from the menu in the left sidebar I get the 404

Ok. As mentioned above, make sure the ‘../wp-content/uploads’ directory is writable and then install the admin interface. See https://docs.fast-events.eu/en/latest/getting-started/settings.html#management-interface

You may need to uninstall it first if it says it is already installed, as your uploads directory was not writable.

Het is via een omweg gelukt om de admin interface te downloaden en te installeren. De file werd door de webhoster als te groot bevonden. Daarom lukte het niet om toegang te krijgen tot de bestanden in /wp-content/uploads.

via een pluging bestandsbeheer heb ik de interface nu werkend gekregen.
