    Hello!

    I may be wrong, but you might need to update the plugin description/FAQ on WordPress.org as to my somewhat limited knowledge, reading objects stored in R2 counts as a class B operation. Whilst egress is free, and you get 10m class B operations per month for free before it’s $0.90 / million requests, this may catch some users unaware and to my knowledge, there’s no way to set spending caps on R2 currently.

    With AI crawlers slurping up content, a site with a few thousand photos and any amount of decent traffic might turn into an expensive mistake relatively quickly with pages frequently having dozens and dozens of thumbnails on them.

    Could well be mistaken though! But thought I’d reach out and let you know. Will be trying the plugin tonight and very much looking forward to it. The use-case is off-loading pay-what-you-like music downloads onto R2 to reduce server backup size and speed them up. :- )
