Changing widget behaviour on Mikael Theme
-
Am using Mikael theme https://preview.themeforest.net/item/mikael-modern-creative-cvresume-wordpress-theme/full_screen_preview/27244770?_ga=2.137199666.362445657.1691914306-1791173094.1691914306&_gac=1.80809701.1691957178.CjwKCAjw_uGmBhBREiwAeOfsd8EHZ8xOYAZ5F2P1E1SsjXDlzfezMVaGa2tvI1uHyQUPVvXZtPXAQhoCLJEQAvD_BwE on my website.
It has a lovely portafolio slide (the theme uses slides rather than pages) which relies on the wordpress “portafolio” entries. So I’ve been tinkering with it: http://emena.online/#Portfolio
What I want is to change the behaviour of being redirected to the porfolio entry page when clicked… I dont want users to exit the main page and then have to go back. I want to make a complete one page experience (the less hassle the more possibilities I have to get hired). For this I made an alternate portfolio page, displaying my 5 services and when clicked they display lightboxes with examples of my work: http://emena.online/#Portafolio… its functional but boring, i would rather be using the themes original portfolio page.
So am asking your help to shine some light on how I can make the original porfolio slide links behave like the alternate portfolio page I made, meaning when clicked a lightbox gallery is displayed instead of redirectiring me out.
I’ve tried AI, tinkering with the theme editor, additional css, inspecting it on chrome, but I must admit my knowledge on the subject is limited.
Thanks in advance to all the people that take time to help newbies!
PD: The lightbox galleries where created with SimpLy Galleries plugin shortcodes.
