Changes made with customizer won't take effect

    Hi,
    I’m using a child theme of Magazine Basic.
    The customizer worked very well for weeks until my background color changed on my site. However, when I check in the customizer the colors have not changed, they remain the same as I had customized.
    In the stylesheet, the color I chose (#1d4695) does not appear anywhere.

    I tried to deactivate all plugins but the problem persists. So it’s not a plugin issue.

    I tried refreshing my browser cache (F5), I tried the hard cache refresh (ctrl + shift + Del) but the problem is still here. So it’s not a cache issue.

    Only the background color won’t change. The rest of the customizer’s Color section works well. It’s really just the background color which has changed for some reason.

    Actually my background image has disappeared too.

    And in the stylesheet (child), the color I chose (#1d4695) for the background AND header text AND link does not appear anywhere in the css file.

    I also tried to analyze and configure the child theme and I got these messages:

    The theme “Magazine Basic Child” generated unexpected PHP debug output.

    The theme has been updated recently. When that happens, your child theme code will not be overwritten, but updates to the theme might have to be carried over into the child theme to make sure everything works together.

    i’ve been trying several things but I still can’t get the previous customization back.

    You’re best bet it to start building your child theme again. Add in the customized stuff piece by piece so that you can see the new code.
