Category Description Showing In Menu

I just switched to this theme and my category descriptions cannot be deleted because of SEO purposes. But anyway, I have like 5 category menu items showing the descriptions in the actual menu itself and cannot figure out how to get rid of it. I’ve already searched the other “workarounds” of other people who have had this issue in the past and the css code to “hide” it didn’t work for me and I also saw a suggestion to delete the category description but as we all know, that’s a huge SEO problem and nobody should have to delete their descriptions on any theme just so something works or not. So here’s my question: Is it possible to get rid of these descriptions in the menu without having to delete them?
