Captchas too complicated, not acceptable

    Owners of this plugin have only complicated captchas to select in booking software. I have used it for 50 times to far and tested all 4 variant. ALL of theme are very complicated! I have very often to try 2-3 times every time!! I can’t imagine, that a enterprise uses that, customers will run away!! See http://aiai.de/foren/booking-captcha.png

    And now the best: this plugin owner company dwbooster.co itself (!!!) uses a easy captcha that can be fullfilled without 2-3 tries: convince yourself: https://apphourbooking.dwbooster.com/contact-us hahahah!!!

    But besides such small obstacles, the software is good!! Seems to work. Not yet tested in “real life”! I have PRO version.

    Hi,

    According to the screenshot provided you should change the font size in the captcha settings to render it completely into the box, or at least increase the box size in the settings.

    The captcha base font can be easily customized, you can overwrite the base font files into the folder “appointment-hour-booking\captcha\” with other standard font files.

    Depending of the version of the plugin you are using you can also use Google reCAPTCHA (either visible or invisible reCAPTCHA V2) and the invisible antispam protection (honeypot): https://apphourbooking.dwbooster.com/customdownloads/honeypot-feature.png

    1. Can you tell me where in settings I can resize captcha box? Some css-code?

    2. Using google reCAPTCHA? Invisible antispam? Where that? How that? – The pic you point in your answer shows only how to turn on/off recaptcha. You wanted to point to another pic??

    3. customization in theme in appointment-hour-booking\captcha\ is overwritten with every update, right?

    Hi,

    1- Settings area for customizing the captcha:

    Please note the setting fields “min font size”, “max font size”, “width” and “height” in the above screenshot. A captcha preview is included in that area for easily test the different combinations.

    2- About the Google reCAPTCHA feature, enable first the add-on in the Appointment Hour Booking >> Add-ons menu, then enter the reCAPTCHA V2 API keys in the following area:

    … and the built-in captcha will be replaced by Google reCAPTCHA when done the above.

    The reCAPTCHA add-on supports both visible and invisible reCAPTCHA V2 keys, just be sure to use V2 keys.

    About the invisible anti-spam honeypot feature (not related to Google reCAPTCHA, this is a built-in solution), all you need is to enable it for it to work:

    You can use the invisible honeypot feature with or without the other visible captcha options, these options are compatible.

    3- If the plugin is automatically updated then the base font files will be overwritten with the update. The above two points are a more safe solution for customizing the captcha.
