• I installed BotDetect. I wanted something that would require a captcha to leave a comment on my blog. It dosen’t show up on my blog but on my admin login page. The kicker is that it actually does not load the captcha as anything other then a period or broken image so now I am locked out of my own site because I cannot read the captcha. Help! Here is a screen cap of the login page.

I’ve just tried it today and same problem.

The simple fix is: with FTP, rename the plugin’s folder to disable it.

Obviously, other people are saying it works great but there does seem to be either
    1) Something universally wrong with it now
    2) Something about our wordpress setups that stops it working.

I expect it’s 2) and I wonder if some security setting is blocking it from getting the images.

If it’s working it’s probably a good plugin but not worth the effort for me.
