Any ideas how to fix it or is it a bug in Neve?
Is there no other way? This seems like a hack. Isn’t it better for Neve to have this by default like all other themes?
Also, what about the top toolbar not showing up?

That’s just an option, which some themes have built-in or not. It’s possible for Neve to add it at some point, but until then that’s an easy way to do it if you want 🙂
Regarding the toolbar, I’m not exactly sure what you mean. Could you please share your site and a screenshot of what exactly is missing?

That toolbar is part of WordPress itself and appears when you logged in with a specific user role. It shouldn’t be related to the theme you are using.
Yes, but I am not able to see it despite being logged in. If I change my theme to something else, the toolbar appear again. Only on Neve, it doesn’t.

Not sure what could cause this. Could you maybe try this:
– Go to your profile in the WP dashboard https://prnt.sc/rjr580
– Check to see if Show Toolbar when viewing site is checked
– If it is not, select this and save … that should fix it
– If the option is checked, deselect it and save. Then, select it again and save.

Hey! The solution you suggested to be able to edit posts has a problem. It goes away after every Theme update of Neve. It seems like there is a need of a proper solution for the Edit button.
If I can show the standard WordPress toolbar somehow, it wouldn’t be a problem. Can you tell me how to?
