Cannot create a new network

    Hi,

    In response to https://wordpress.org/support/topic/4-7-multi-network-issues, using ver 1.8.1, I noticed (after deleting a secondary network) that I could no longer add a new network. I deleted the plugin and installed ver 2.1.0 from Github and the issue remains.

    There’s nothing obvious in log files. I can create a new site no problem under the primary network. I’ve deleted all applicable cookies, and the domain I’m trying to add as the main site for the secondary network is otherwise working fine. I’m using Nginx and disabled any normal restrictions I apply.

    Nada. Any other ideas? Does anyone else experience this?

    As a work-around I’m considering creating the new site under the primary and then making database adjustments. This may be a reasonable feature request, to take a site under a network and ‘convert’ it to a main site of a new network.

    This is resolved – almost too embarrassing to admit why 😮

    Ummm, perhaps some form validation with useful messages such as “Network title is required, please complete this field”? I’ll see if I can add it to the code…
