Cannot associate popup with Elementor button | WordPress.org

I am using Elementor and Popup Maker. I created the popup maker ppopup. In my page, there is a button. When I edit the button, the “Clcik To Load Popup” dropdown only shows N/A. I expected to see the Popup I created.

What am I missing so that I can use a Popup Maker popup when an Elementor button is pressed?

I am integrating an Elementor button with Popup Maker.

I think the problem was I also had an anchor tag defined for the button. Once I removed that, the popup from the button worked. Thank you
