Can you Pause Billing?

I was wondering if you can pause or put an account on hold for a period of time.

I’m working on a gym membership page and sometimes people get sick/have hospital stays etc, that will keep them out of classes for extended periods. We would like to be able to hold their subscription without cancelling it.
