Can it work with only using the URL

I have a website where the users upload a song for soundcloud, but i have it set up that they only post the URL and they dont need to use the embedded code from soundcloud. my question, is there a way to install this plugin and instead of using the toneden shortcode to show the player, is there a way i can install toneden and have it be my player with changing the url ect.
