Hi there, thanks for your message. The phone number is part of the button link, but should not be visible on the button. Only when you hover over the button will your browser show the call link in the bottom corner of the screen. Is that what you mean or are you seeing the phone number somewhere else?

Hi Jerry, Thanks for your reply. I meant that when the call button is clicked, the phone number is visible while the call is being placed. Is it possible to hide the phone number so users don’t see it?

Thanks for clarifying! Unfortunately, it’s not possible to hide the phone number in the call window – that’s controlled by the user’s device and phone app, not by our plugin. When someone clicks a call button, their phone’s dialer automatically displays the number being called as part of the standard calling interface.
This is the same behavior you’d see with any phone link on any website, as it’s a function of how mobile devices handle call links.
