• I’ve just migrated a WP site to a new hosting service. I had to remove the supercache plugin for this to work. The plugin is now re-installed but when I go to its settings page I get the error message below. The file path to the site root on the new server is slightly different to the path on the old provider’s server.

I’ve checked wp-config.php and the cache path in wp-cache-config.php and amended paths to point to the new site but I’m still getting the error. I can’t find any reference to supercache in the database. Where else should I look.

    thanks.

Error: Your cache directory (/home/sites/kim-aldis.co.uk/public_html/wp6/wp-content) did not exist and couldn’t be created by the web server. Check /home/sites/kim-aldis.co.uk/public_html/wp6/wp-content permissions.

Cannot continue… fix previous problems and retry.
