• I paid for the premium version of this plugin back in May with the view to building a mega menu for a clients site.

Building the Menu with The Plus Addons was a breeze and hence the 2 stars, however, that’s where the benefits end.

When deployed on the live site, the first person to load any page see’s a very broken mega menu. What should be compacted and hidden behind the size of a small menu bar, is a mega menu that takes up the full verticle height of the page (and some more) in a very broken display.

At first, I thought it was a conflict with the Litespeed Cache or Cloudflare which we use for speed optimisations. However, after disabling both Caching Systems the problem still persisted.

I contacted their support team who’s short and unhelpful response was “This will happen only on the first load of the page and first user so once you reload the page again the menu will work fine.”

When the plugin is being used on an eCommerce site, the above ‘solution’ isn’t acceptable. Having a broken web page is a loss of sale for my client and a potentially lost contract for me!

Supposedly they’re bringing out fixes and options to disable The Plus Addons’s built-in caching features, although after waiting for 3-months I don’t hold much hope.

I do hope to be able to update my review to a much better score if the developers decide to finally fix the issues and take a look at the ‘support’ they are offering paying customers.

    Hello PixeljackWeb,

    Hope you are doing well.

Hope you have reached out to us before leaving review. We are using that same system and all 40K+ users and That works well. There might be a chance or any other conflict. Would you like to give us a chance to have a look at site again? We will definitely resolve that for you.

On top of that, We know, It took time but, We are working on two things.
    1. Improving our caching algorithm to next level as many of users just love our caching as it has helped them achieve best speed by having low page size and low requests. As, We minify-combine CSS & JS in individual files based on widgets used in that page. It has a fantastic response from our users.
    2. Disabling caching but still, We are finding a way so users can load only required files on each page for optimum performance.
We are deeply caring about performance part. That’s why we are releasing next update with below features.
    – Scan and disable all unused widgets from The Plus Addons, Elementor Free & Elementor Pro with single click of button.
    – Inbuilt deep integration of LazyLoad functionality (With Enable/Disable option)
    – We are gradually improving each widget for better performance in the backend and frontend by multiple optimisation techniques.
    – And Caching updates are mentioned above.
We can provide you stable beta version and setup on your website with all testing to make sure everything go smooth. We care a lot about ecommerce sites, where speed matters a lot. And That’s why we work on optimisation and such caching options a lot.

We are sorry to see such review, We can understand your pain and hopefully, We will be able to make you happy. Though, You need not to wait for our next update as issue you have mentioned can be resolved by us even with current version of The Plus Addons for Elementor. As long as you don’t have deep caching customisation or used any other caching plugins with deeply custom settings.

We have responded on helpdesk as well. You may continue communication on same ticket as well.
