    Since there haven’t been any answers in several months to the questions asked here, I’ll try my look with this thread.

    I encounter similar problems like the other guys already mentioned in the old thread months ago:

    1) The “export” button in the site editor gives an error message (“an error occurred while creating the site export.”)

    2) Even if the export worked, there is no “import” button.

    Hi @rhisflow – there are more volunteers helping out in the Twenty Twenty-Two forum now, but we haven’t gone back as far as four months. I’m glad to take a look at this issue now, though!

    So far I haven’t been able to replicate the issue with the export button; the export works normally on my end, and I’m able to download the modified theme .zip file.

    If you can provide detailed steps to replicate the issue, that would be helpful.

    As for importing your modified theme (which is just like any regular theme .zip file), you would do that under:

    Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme.

    thanks for your detailed response.

    I’ve just tried it again and this error no longer occurs!

    Seems like since the latest update (6.0.1) it has been solved 🙂
