Braintree settings disappeared; not processing transactions

Transactions looks like they process on the user end, but on the back end, no transaction ID is generated and they don’t end up in braintree. Went to double check the Braintree settings and saw that the option had disappeared under forms settings. Updated to Gravity Forms version 1.9.12.1 and tested; still no fix. This has happened once before where transactions suddenly stopped processing, (braintree settings somehow randomly erased) but I was able to go into settings to fix it. Not sure what to do now.
