Basic Auth on endpoints

Hi, your plugin is great and can really help with caching our endpoints on wp-json returns.
However, we have basic auth setup on the endpoints for security, but when cached, it bypasses all authentication and endpoints available publicly via browser url when cached.
Is there a configuration or setting we are missing to avoid this?
