Hi,
The error you are getting is not to do with your storage space, you are getting this error because you have hit the Google API Project limit.
I’m not sure what Googles policy is on limits or how you get more.
I’m assuming that for each site/UpdraftPlus install you have created a new project? you do not need to do this which means you should not hit any project limits.
After you have created one project you can add as many OAuth credentials (for different sites) as you want to that project.
If you are following the guide here:
https://updraftplus.com/support/configuring-google-drive-api-access-in-updraftplus/
then you only need to do step 1 and 2 once, after that you just repeat step 3 onwards for every site you have.
I hope this helps if you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to ask
Best Wishes,
Ashley
Oh, thank you so much !!
As it is written in the support “every WordPress installation you set up should have its own, unique Google API project”, so that’s why I created a new project each time.
I tried and it worked 🙂
Hi,
The installation guide is written like this as we did find that multiple sites connected through the same project to the same account could cause authentication issues.
However, it appears that this is more stable now, and shouldn’t be an issue.
I would just recommend monitoring the backup report emails.
