Hi @jochenklein
Overall, it seem like your website is using the same database like your other sites, which is very dangerous.
That’s the reason why the backup failed as well, as the database dump took too much time, in any case we have method that should handle it.
Your latest debug code indicates that the process failed due to manual cancel, most likely you clicked on “Stop Backup Process” and then forced both processes to stop before stop action could affect the process.
– In short, if you would run it once again, it should go further. In premium extension, there is option to exclude tables from different sites, which would also fix the issue with backup, but in your case you need to backup all tables even these that are not related to your website.
– Which means, during restoration all these tables will be replaced with currently available ones, which may also affect other sites. Here you can find complete solution:
Your backup failed during database export, mostly due to its huge size.
In first place I’d recommend you to perform full cleanup and optimize all your tables.
You can do that easily with help of free and simple plugin.
Check it out: https://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-database-cleanerThen, follow these steps carefully:
- Download and install “Advanced DB Cleanup” plugin
- Do full Cleanup and optimize all tables using Advanced DB Cleanup plugin
- After that you can already remove mentioned cleanup plugin if you wish
- Go to Backup & Migration plugin settings
- Open “Other options” section
- Disable PHP CLI checking: https://prnt.sc/1sljr31
- Change backup method: https://prnt.sc/1s1ofpa
- Enable database batch export: https://prnt.sc/bn7MjTUxHuEe
- Save “Other options” section
- Force to end both processes (troubleshooting): https://prnt.sc/1trv1tm
Right after the last step, you can run the backup process once again.
Let me know if that resolves your issue 🙂
Thank you!Dear iClyde,
thanx for your answer!
That there are two instances of wordpress DB tables in one DB happened by mistakte (during a failed staging attempt). The “f9e9f7_wp” prefixed tables are not needed anymore (the site that was using it is dead).
Only the “wp_” prefixed tables are in use.
Can I use the “advanced database cleaner” to you suggested to get rid of the unused tables?BR – Jochen
Hi @jochenklein
My apologies for delayed reply.
Yes if you’re 100% sure that these tables are not in use anymore, you can safely remove them via mentioned plugin by me. There is option to remove tables.
Let me know if you need further assistance 🙂
Thank you!As we didn’t hear any reply in last days.
I can assume that you resolved the issue.Feel free to open new topic if I am wrong!
