Back order impossible

    Hi,

    All my products and variations can be ordered on back order.
    When my stock is 0, it is okay everything works fine and people can order. The stock is then -1 for example.

    But when my stock is negative (-1 for example), people can not order on back order, I get the error message “Sorry, we don’t have enough stock for some of the following items. Please try again after some time or contact us”.

    This is very annoying because back order is 100% part of my business model.

    Any help ?

    Could you copy and paste your site’s system status report into this thread? You can get it from your dashboard by going to WooCommerce—> Status.

    Thank you for your help !

    Yes I set all products to stock 0 so it can work for now.
    But if one is set to -1, I get the error.

    Below the system status.
    I am wondering if this is coming from a plugin, I am working on it with the developper as well.

    Hi again,

    Thanks for sending that system status report over to us.

    First, please make a complete backup of your site, then please update WooCommerce. Once it’s updated, head to WooCommerce> Status> Tools, and update the WooCommerce database as well.

    If that doesn’t fix the issue, a conflict test is the next step. To test, first, you’ll want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then test. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you. If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look (I’d start with that Group Stock Manager plugin). If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one to see where the issue is coming from. If you don’t want to test on your live site, then create a staging site using a plugin called WP Staging.

    Yes the error was coming from Group Stock manager plugin !

    Hi,
    I am back with my problem…

    The problem was initially solved by Group stock manager plugin.

    But today I have the same problem but it shows differently :
    I used to have a message error within the cart page.
    Today I have a window opening, saying that the product is not available, and to pick another variation

    I did everything you said in your previous message :
    – Staged my site
    – Updated Woocommerce & data base
    – Changed to Storefront theme
    – Desactivated all plugins and left only woocommerce

    With all this done, I still have the issue…
    When my product is set to “backorder possible with client notification”, it doesn’t work, it says “out of stock” on front end and I cannot order.
    When my product is set to “backorder possible”, it is ok, I can order.
    Client notification is major to me, I cannot do without it.

    Any help ?

    Hi there,

    I solved my problem by deleting all variations and starting all over from 0.
    It works now.
    In case somebody has the same problem.
